The Veltmans, born from a sleepy seaside town with a historically aging population are anything but associated with the low energy of their hometown. With their two breakthrough singles “Peers” and “The Decoy” back in 2022 garnering a series of BBC Introducing appearances, the three friends (and revolving drummers) have cut their teeth relentlessly across the South of England since, earning their stripes as musicians for both themselves and their hometown. Through a string of sold out shows and a viral collaboration with The Crumble Lady, the attention around this band has only been growing. Their debut EP “Coastal Receipt” marked the end of a chapter in their musical journey, recently they have been slipping away from their late noughties indie rock sound in favor of a much darker, matured tone. With their new wave of music anticipated for release early next year, the band are incredibly eager to showcase the transformation they have been through. Expect tears, comical intervals, blistering screams, and much much more.
